First, we would like to thank all the users in the past years for using CPGAVAS in your research. With the wide adoption of Next Generation DNA Sequencing Technologies, obtaining complete plastome sequences has become routine experiments. The numbers of plastome sequences have increased to more than 3000 by now. Many large scale plastome sequencing projects are also on the way, including one from our laboratory. It is time to update the old CPGAVAS server (CPGAVAS2012) to meet today needs. As a result, we are working to update the CPGAVAS2012 to CPGAVAS2018.
